These instruments, such as guitars, violins, violas, cellos, double basses and guitarrones, are recognized for their high quality and cultural and artistic value. The harp of La Huacana, Coalcomán and the Coast, which share these same characteristics, also stands out.

The vocation of the inhabitants of Paracho, Michoacán in the construction of stringed instruments, especially the guitar, is a peculiar case due to the number of artisans who make them and the quality that is recognized nationally and internationally.
