Belonging to a family that passes down unique recipes from generation to generation, Antonina continues to spread, together with her daughter-in-law and granddaughters-in-law, the cooking tradition she learned with her mother and grandmother.
She was in Nairobi in 2010, when the dossier that finally granted Mexico the UNESCO recognition for Traditional Cuisine was presented. She has received several awards and recognitions that endorse her gastronomic work and extol the traditional flavors of her recipes.

From its cuisine emanate the aromas of the traditional dishes of the lake region, which invite you to try its charales tamales in corncob leaves, hot trout broth, crispy charales, a delicious tomato mole and corundas.
