Originally from Apatzingán, this master chef is a worthy representative of the gastronomy of her land. She has participated in numerous festivals and Traditional Cooking Encounters thanks to the quality of her dishes. Her grandfather cooked for General Lázaro Cárdenas and passed on this culinary tradition to his family, which she now shares with her children.
Specialty
In his restaurant, La Tradición, he offers a little piece of Tierra Caliente on every table. He uses charcoal, wood, clay pots and wooden spoons to prepare his special dishes such as deer birria; aporreadillo; morisqueta; fried pork; suckling calf; as well as delicious traditional desserts such as guava jam, homemade chongos and rice pudding.
He is also dedicated to the rescue of ancient dishes such as fried wild boar, badger in mole and fried armadillo.
