The tour starts leaving Morelia towards Copándaro. The first stop will be at the cempasúchil flower plots, where you will receive an explanation about planting and harvesting. You will be able to cut your own bunch and take pictures. The visit lasts 50 minutes.
Then, travel to Santa Fe de la Laguna (1 hour drive). Here, you will learn how to make candles in a 1-hour workshop, and you will also visit the Ahuanda Pottery Workshop to learn about the art of traditional pottery and the Noche de Ánimas (1 hour 30 min).
Continue with a workshop to decorate sugar skulls (1 hour 30 min). Then, in San Jerónimo Purenchécuaro (30 min drive), enjoy a traditional cooking workshop with Master Chef Rosalba Morales (2 hours 30 min).
The trip continues to Patzcuaro (1 hour drive), where you will participate in an altar making workshop at the CIVAQ (2 hours). It ends at the Uranden Springs with a canoe parade and duck hunting demonstration. Return to Morelia (1 hour 15 min).
